A PhD in Computer Science with Network Security specialization looks deeply in advance computer networking and securing the network. In today’s world, the internet connects nearly everyone and everything, and this is accomplished through networking. While most see computer networking as a positively, however, criminals routinely use the internet, tweak networking protocols and use them as weapons and tools to exploit vulnerabilities. For this reason,it is imperative to secure the network. Research scholars will be able to review the basic components of a network, threats and attacks to the network, and discover means to protect them from attackers. For successful completion of the PhD degree in LUC, each candidate should publish a minimum of Four research articles in Scopus indexed journals/ Conferences with Lincoln University College affiliation.
