Hardware refers to the external and internal devices and equipment that enable you to perform major functions such as input, output, storage, communication, processing, and more. There are two types of computer hardware: external and internal. External hardware devices include monitors, keyboards, printers, and scanners, whereas internal hardware devices include motherboards, hard drives, and RAM. Hardware is typically directed by the software to execute any command or instruction. A combination of hardware and software forms a usable computing system, although other systems exist with only hardware.
The main aim of Computer Hardware course is to learn the names and functions of hardware ports and the parts of the motherboard.Learn the names and distinguishing features of different kinds of input and output devices. The program aims to the CPU processes data and instructions and controls the operation of all other devices, helps to guard yourself against system failure, also future-proof yourself against needing a new PSU when you upgrade to more powerful PC components. Understanding a computer and its hardware components can prove very useful when the time comes to upgrade or replace any parts, or when building a computer.Students will learn to build computers, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, networking, safety in the workplace, and basic electronics related to computer hardware.
